IBM Rescue & Restore CDs...

I just got a T43 and decided to make some recovery cds with the Access IBM thing. Unfortunately, I ran out of blank cds when I got to disc 5 (I think there are more than that?), so I canceled the cd-making. When I burn the cds again, should I have to worry about copyright stuff with...

superflymx6, what kind of laptop is it, and what are the names of the cds that came with your laptop? [edit] I guess if your computer is making weird (hardware) sounds when starting up, that could also indicate bad hardware. Didn't read that part carefully, sorry.

weird internet connection problems

i am not sure if it would be the firewall, but it might be the case. the last time i used zonealarm, i had similar problems, but i don't remember which version of ZA i used. (it was about 2 years ago.) my internet would work fine, and then i would go to class, come back a few hours later, and...

firefox vs. opera?

no one mentioned lynx? :( :D opera's banner ad bugged me, so i use firefox (for now). kinda the same reason i use gaim instead of the official aim client from aol, except that i can't pay $$ to make the horrible banner ads go away. whoop.
