Finally someone gets it :D It's not about denial that 8800GT > 3870 or whatever. It's about fair and accurate reporting, which TechSpot and LegionHardware have clearly failed to do.

You're not reading. Look again at the benchmark configurations. 2xAA and 0xAA yield the same numbers? Vista and XP yield the same numbers, down to the last digit? 8800GT is faster than 8800GTX (swapped numbers)?

No, that's not right. They did "fix" the numbers, but they didn't take into account that Vista 64bit and XP 32bit give different FPS results. Still bogus.

x1650 pro vs x800?

The X1650 is obviously better, he's correct. 36 pixel pipelines > 16 pixel pipelines. The X1650 will be much better at the latest games. It would probably lose at older games though.

Advice on getting a high-tech internship

Hey, great thread. I have a question about Intel's internships. I've been offered some positions at AMD, but all I will be doing is verification (test cases, etc). Is Intel similar to this or will I be able to write some actual hardware? :)
