This is why I rooted and loaded a custom rom on both my Droid 1 and Thunderbolt. Not only does Verizon load useless Vcast apps, they also are a system hog in the background.
This is why Apple thrives, their ability to get people excited and ready to purchase over no major improvement. The White iPhone 4 is the same and the black one. People want what they can't have!!
GO ANDROID! I upgraded from the Droid 1 to the Thunderbolt. Yes the battery life is ~ 4 hours with heavy 4G usage, but it is well worth it. The Bionic looks awesome and I like Motorola phones, coming from the Droid 1.
iPhone if you want Apple in control. Droid if you want to be in control.
