AMD Polaris Thread: Radeon RX 480, RX 470 & RX 460 launching June 29th

Polaris 10 starting @ $199 for ~$500 worth of GPU power (390x / 980 / Nano)? [WSJ]

Been eyeing a 1070 ever since i saw the review. But at 199....this could make me stay with AMD, my 280 still chugs along nicely, maybe il see how the 480x/1060 shape up. 199 is amazing though, from a r9 280 that would be almost 2x perf no ?

LG vs Asus IPS Monitor

Neither, get the one of the Samsung 23.6 inch models, best HW purchase ive ever made. I got the Samsung S24D390HL, it looks stunning, no noticeable ghosting from my old 1ms TN Acer, and i can sit all day in front of it without getting eye strain. They are also pretty balanced out of the box...

AMD Catalyst 15.7 Driver is now available!

Im getting a nasty image freeze in Dota 2 with this driver and Windows 10 x64. it only happens in fullscreen, anyone have a fix for this ? The reborn beta works fine, CSGO too, but i can't play dota 2 in borderless, its laggy or something, its forcing my FPS at 60 even tough i don't have vsync...

Is my Ivy Bridge Xeon too hot ?

Actually ive experienced the pin issue some months ago on it, and i was alarmed when i saw my temps jumping from 50 to 95 in 1 second when windows started. Then i checked, and tripple checked , running smooth stable now. So from my experience if one leg is detached you get wild temp rises...

40% more IPC .... how would that stack against a Ivy Brige Core ? I just bought a Xeon 1240v2... its an amazing upgrade but this Zen announcement is kinda making me wonder if il keep it more than a year :)
