Yeah I thought so too buy i really can't seem to find exactly what i want in a laptop, so building most of it yourself would get that done. Also by that price range i meant the whole laptop, parts and all. For example, none of those 15 inch laptops you posted above have 1680x1050...

Getting mobile graphics cards.

I'm looking for a 15" laptop in the general $1000-$1200 price range, and I was looking at barebones notebooks. Problem with this is I would need to purchase the graphics card and I have yet to find anywhere that I can purchase such a thing. So am I missing something or are these actually...

NZXT Alpha

If any of you remember, a bit ago i was searching for a sleek and sexy case and had it down to the NZXT Trinity and the NZXT Alpha. Well, Newegg deactivated the Trinity, so I'm more than likely going to get the Alpha, which is good i guess because it looks good without needing a bay door. But...

Building a low cost Gaming Box for -Older- Games

All I have to say is avoid AMD. Intel/Nvidia options are the best at this point in time, especially processors. Instead of that X2, get a core 2 duo, and get a cheap intel-based motherboard.

At the risk of being yelled at by everybody here, I say if you're looking for a system that will be SLI compatible, the EVGA 750i is a wonderful option, in fact that's the one I'm looking at myself. It has some great features like a clear CMOS button and diagnostic LEDs in case something goes...

New build, suggestion and feedback please.

Yeah a 9800GTX2 will own dual 8800GT's any day of the week. Get at least the new GTS's or maybe even an 8800GTX if your budget can handle it.

Mid-Range General Usage Build

Those are good processor choices. They should run cooler, but i would always recommend an aftermarket cooler, especially if you plan to overclock at all. Thermaltake makes some good coolers, myself I am looking at the Max Orb, the V1 also seems to be a popular choice but it costs a tad bit more...

Looking for a sleek, sexy gamer case.

Actually there's two 120mm fan mounts, one front, one back, and one 80mm, which is on the side. And if I need to, I'll get a bay drive fan or vga fan or something. Unless anybody has any other suggestions, that will probably be the one I'll be going with.

Mid level gaming rig

The difference in performance between the 8800GT and the new 512mb GTS isn't enough to warrant nearly another 50 or so bucks. Just OC the GT and you'll be on your way.
