What 8 inch tablet (android) ?

Good to know. I knew the 810 had issues but never ran into them until Bloons making it choke. Maybe I'm oblivious to lags and micro-stutters but I've never noticed them in my everyday use and the phone's generally been smooth for me.

So how is the Grand Mac?

Only 15%? It seemed much bigger than that to me, to the point where I felt over-full finishing one. It's basically a huge Big Mac, nothing more.

What's a fast reliable way to transfer a large # of files between phones?

Same here. SendAnywhere also works from Android to/from Android and Windows 10 to/from Android which covers every use case I have.

Montreal Canada, Eh?

Adult here. I went to Montreal and to the Biodome a few years ago. The butterfly exhibit there was awesome...looks like it's still there but I'm not sure if it's permanent and/or seasonal. Montreal is also home to my favorite restaurant anywhere, Joe Beef. We feasted there and closed the place...

Without knowing what functionality you're looking for specifically, Solid Explorer is the file explorer I've seen suggested the most. I'm old school and still use the very first file explorer I ever tried for Android that still meets my admittedly basic needs, Root Explorer.

Headed to Chicago in a couple weeks, questions... (Updated)

Stuff worth doing not mentioned yet: Go to the John Hancock building's Signature Lounge which IMO offers better views than the Sears Tower. Note that it's a different elevator to get there than to the actual observatory level. For the price of admission, you get one "free" drink in the lounge...

Considering switch from Sprint to Project Fi

Does Project Fi actually work with phones other than the Nexus 5X, 6 and 6P? I know some people have gotten it to work on iPhones but that the process was a crapshoot and that some functionality may be lost on phones that aren't officially supported.

I'm not white and I went to an elementary school that was 95% white and a high school that was probably 75% white and didn't run into any of that beyond one high school fight with a guy who was known to be a dick to everyone.
