No idea. However I did get a look at the article and saved some of the images in case they removed the article. Looks like alot of good boards are coming out. I'm particulary interested in the DFI board.
Didnt realize DFI was such a horrible company. Only board Ive heard they had problems with is their crossfire version motherboard (cant remember the name at the moment). I just happened to notice that the DFi board had more options on it than the ASUS one (ex: 6 USB instead of 4 on the back)...
I agree for the average user quad SLI (or even quad Xfire) would be too much. However I believe this would be very useful for workstations that involve intense graphic design and simulation.
Nvr owning a large lcd monitor, but wanting to get onesometime soon. What kind of lag problem does it have? How bad is it? can anybody link me to a thread that discusses it? Thanks
Well that bites the big one. was hopin to get 4 dimms at 1T, and maybe 6 USB on the back I/O. Seems like Asus will be the board for me, unless Abit does better.

I agree that $300 is alot, but I think tht once games start to use the PPU having a completely interactive envrionment, and playing in enormous battles (maybe online?) in the tens of thousands :shocked: (from what I've read) might be just worth it...
