120hz works. Dunno why the arguement about 'input' signals. It convert into 120Hz. Makes movies smoother (less motion blurr). Some like it, Some hate it. Currently more is needed to allieviated the motion blur.

Router with best range/strongest signal?

had better luck with netgear myself (range & reliability). I never payed attention to any extended range of a 'n' product, mostly because I never had signal issues. 'n' & 'g' have both served well in a 4500+1200sqft house

Poor Life of Consumer Routers?

I've had best luck with Netgear. Had 2 linksys die on me. Haven't had the Trendnet long enough to say. All are/were high-priced models.

Asus P6T vs. Gigabyte x58-UD3R

didn't see a need to spend more than the UD3 myself; p6t is no longer a rip-off either I guess 8GB w/ Server08 Ent. VM, V64 VM, Linux VM, XP host. edited some avchd 24Mbps natively and through a proxy Haven't tried to OC since I have stock HS & like how my PC is almost inaudible during avchd...

Seagate 7200.12 500GB

my 2 are working fine. Transfer files, vm's, holding os. sometimes you just have to take a leap of faith... for me 1 platter vs 2 was preferred. For size I go with 1TB/1.5TB I'm trying to hold off for the 2 platter 1TB...prefer something more reliable than reviews on the 1.5;s

50' is not a problem. <strike>RAM elect also make a quality unit, bluejeans is more expensive I believe.</strike> edit=checked records, it was a component cable that works great via RAM

What movies would actually look good on a 24" LCD HD monitor?

setup right/good anything will look great higher the res. spread the more likely it won't look at optimim (asusming a nice scaler (ala lumagen) isn't used); "720" plasma DVD looks better but HD suffers
