I bought the 1 gig dual channel pack from frys about a month ago. Running dual channel at 200fsb at 2-3-3-11, passed memtest and prime overnight too :). Good ram i think.

Reccomend a GOOD video card, on a budget

maybe just buy a ti 4200 for around 75 and upgrade later once the new chipsets come out and the current cards drop in price or you save up more money.

Some Hot? Deals at Sunnyvale Frys

question about putting speakers near monitors

When some people post pictures of their workstation and it shows a shelf system's speakers on both sides of the monitor people point out that it's not good for the monitor or something. I 'm just wondering why it isn't good for the monitor.
