Mobo that has both an AGP and a PciEx slot?

wow, fascinating read guys. i guess this means that waiting for uli boards to come out is the best solution for me. any word on when they'll be out and whether they will be reasonably priced?

Opinion on these 3 cases/psu's

Thanks, Mucker :). I'm looking to build a budget gaming system, so I don't want to spend a lot of money on a psu, given that there are a lot of cheaper ones available. I am not very sure about the quality of these units though. I'm looking at amd 3000+ 1 or 2 gigs of ram, new hd (not sure...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16813138249 This one purports to have both? Anybody know anything about this board, and if there are any other boards like this? If so, this would be the perfect solution for my upgrade.

If i get dual channel 2x512 how would I upgrade in the future?

I know that dual channel is better than getting just one 1gb stick but how would I upgrade in the future? Get another pair? Will I still get the advantages of dual channel? Or is it better to get 2x1gb right off the bat?

Looking to upgrade to a monitor that's easy on the eyes.

I currently have an old 17" CRT that I want to upgrade to something bigger, and easier on the eyes. I've always ran an 800x600 resolution because anything else makes things just too small. I've heard that LCDs are easier on the eyes, and they are also more convenient, but the 1280x1024...

A few LCD questions

What's all that stuff about native resolution and running into problems withg ames? I currently have a 17" old CRT taht I am thinking of upgrading, and I like it at 800x600, so I can actually read the letters on the screen. Are you saying that a bigger LCD wont' be able to run that?

What monitor to get?

I am looking to upgrade my 17" crt to something better. Right now I am running it a 800x600 because anything bigger makes text too small. I have a 9800se softmodded video card. Since I have poor vision, I need a monitor that's big, easy on the eyes, and something that won't ruin my vision...

Computer won't boot up and mobo just beeps.

austel 300 w psu abit kg7 crucial ram 256mb 30 gig 7200 hd western digital i think cheap netgear nic sony sound card 5.1 hope this is enuff info :|
