Well as it turns out it is impossible to install a RAID array and also have a single disk present on this MOBO. By turning SATA operational mode to RAID you turn ALL SATA ports to RAID, and because you cant have a 1 disk RAID (duh!) it wont allow operation. Solution: Well I'm not going to go...

I have done that. If I have the 2 raid disks in sata ports 5 & 6, then the bios dosnt even recognize them.

@ MrChad - It did have the latest SP and updates untill I did the reinstall. @ Fardringle - I have done the detect and repair several times in addition to an uninstall - reinstall.

well the first thing that comes to mind is to update the vid-card drivers, if they are totally up to date run a driver cleaner on the driver then re-install it. The fact that you have lag in video game also suggest to me that it may be something with the card. Any program that has that...

Cassette tape to MP3 conversion

Any basic sound recording software would work to capture the .WAV file, just play the tape in a boombox or walkman or whatever, to the input or mic-in on the sound card, then a wav to mp3 converter program to finish it up. There is probably a better way to do this, however this 'would' work.

best low-profile word processing software other than MS Word?
