Glaciator...no improvement over Volcano II

You have to tell us the ambient temp in your case. If its like 30C and you are oc'ing then those temps would make some sense.

can i just leave my side panel of my case open???

My side panels have been off for one and a half years and I dont get too much dust build up...so its fine dude ;)

CD-ROM locks when inserting a music CD

thats some weird sh!t....is it burned music CD's, because maybe your cdrom doesn't like the CD. Otherwise I have no clue dude!

whats so good about anisotropy?

Aniosotropy is supposed to make the overall image quality better without much of a hit on you FPS. When I enable it my CS looked sooooooo much better, and I only lost 1 or 2 FPS. I dont know about Serious Sam, maybe it takes a larger hit out of it since the game is much more complicated the HL.

Games freezing with GeForce 3

My Counter-strike was crashing every 30 minutes with my GTS and I went and bought a 350 watt enermax and upgraded the drivers to 12.60.....now I can play all day!

Or you could keep your case off like me all the time :)....make sure you dust every couple weeks though ;)

Where can I get a good, but yet quiet fan for my 1.4Ghz TB?

The Global Win WBK32 with a 26 fan is pretty good with little noise.

Win2k Poor Framerate?!?

Make sure you install the agp via driver aswell...its the one that fixes the slow frame rate and sh!t...make sure you install it in turbo mode. Good luck ;)
