My point is the Tesla can give you a charged car just as fast, if not faster than a gas station could. The tech is there if people wanted it. I can't fault Tesla for the users not taking advantage of the option.
More-so to me this just bodes extra well for the ease / cost effectiveness of...
I drove 40 miles a day for work and lunch with my Volt. So in the winter I drop the battery to 0 daily. In the summer I usually get home with ~12 miles of charge left. I can 100% charge from when I get home to when I have to leave the next AM for work on a 110v charger.
I just kept my eye peeled and when I saw a bunch that would stack jumped at it. The big one was $2500 since I already own a Volt... that plus all the others meant I shoved $6800+ of incentives into 2 years, where most people stretch it to 3 years on a lease or 5+ on financing. $6800/24 has...
We have the 2.5 liter 4cyl but in that the shutoff is really noticeable too.... I was shocked how apparent it is/was.
Beyond that and the sorta boring look of the car, its really quite nice... especially for the price we're paying. Tons of room. I've never been in a car where riding shotgun...
I have never considered leasing a car in my life .... I usually buy a car used with 20-50k miles, drive it to +170k and move on... but not this time!
My wife was driving a Lexus IS350 we wanted to replace because of the miles, we did so with a 2016 Chevy Malibu we leased for $72/mo. 24 month...
FWIW - I bought a Volt about two years ago, figured I would drive it for 4-6 years until the Model 3 releases, try and dump the Volt for the 3 and hope for the best. In the past 18 months the addition of charging the Volt has raised our electric bill $16 a month. Usually I burn the battery...

So I have DirectTV box, PS3, FireTV Stick, and Misc HDMI input going to my receiver. From my receiver's HDMI out I run to a powered splitter (1 in 2 out). The two outs go like so:
1.) To the projector...
2.) To the extra LED tv in the room
Everything on and running the DirectTV / FireStick /...
Yeah, he seems to be loving this project .... and honestly his hotrod is even more impressive than this build.

Bought a house about 6 months ago, spent the first month gutting the basement because of mold and now have started to rebuild.
The basement will ultimately be:
* 26'x22' Theater / Bar room setup
* 14'x14' home gym
* 10'x8' bathroom
* 22'x10' laundry / wife craft area
* 20'x15' storage area...
Some more photos / update -
* Car will most likely be a tube-frame, mid-range, single seat death rocket (think Lamborghini Egoista )
* Will be twin turbo .... quad turbo was posing to be a huge pain in the ass to get everything fit/spaced properly.
