    Has Amazon started to suck?

I am a prime member and live 20 miles from a town of about 40k. Anyways, I have ordered a ton of stuff from Amazon over the years. Sometimes the price is a bit higher, sometimes a lot cheaper than what I can get at local b&m stores. Plus I don't have to drive 40 miles round trip to shop. Almost...

    new printer help

Often, if there is no display on the printer, and no way to type in a password, you need a USB cable from the printer to the PC, even to setup wireless printing. The advantage is, once it is on the network, other pc and devices on wifi can then print. But you still need that usb printer cable...

US Court Upholds "Safe Space" for Florida Gun Owners

Cool, so you answer the door, and get shot in the face, and your wife is like, hold on let me go to the bank, and then go back to the room. Watch the kids while I am gone please.

How often do you have to replace your batteries in the winter?

Uhm, the car wouldn't die while running if the alternator was working properly. I can disconnect the batter on my crown vic, once it is running and it keeps running.

Home Warranty - Should I buy one? How do they work exactly?

I know the OP has made his mind up, but I have had a different experience. I bought my first house back in 2004, and the warranty thing was added in, but it was a one time payment of like $300 I think. Anyways, a few months in our oven stopped working. It was a double oven, so it had an oven...

    Recommend an oscillating tool

http://www.homedepot.com/p/RIDGID-JobMax-3-Amp-Multi-Tool-Starter-Kit-R28600/202672276 Works good in my opinion. I do usually buy ridgid, for the lifetime warranty.

Smart enough to set up a GoFundMe account, NOT smart enough to remove a baby from van

Reading comprehension fail? Unless the grandparents set up the gofundme, it sounds like the grandparents, and other people killed the child. And the mom, who was sleeping since she works graveyard had nothing to do with it. Except I guess feeling guilty that she trusted the child to her...

Alky come back! (Call in thread)

His ego and desire to prove how much he doesn't care, and doesn't lie, would make him post here if he weren't actually banned. He was crying a bunch one day, and saying he was going to leave neffers, and he didn't need the shit he was getting there. I told him bye a few times, and yet, he still...

    Anker Gaming Mice

Enhanced pointer precision is windows acceleration and deceleration, turning it off helps, but also, any mouse with a laser, and not an optical sensor has built in hardware acceleration. And a lot of optical mice do as well. You can search google for a list of which mice do not have...

    Anker Gaming Mice

You want a mouse that doesn't have acceleration. Which rules out all laser mice. I have the Cooler Master CM storm spawn mouse. It is one without acceleration, and turn off enhanced pointer precision.

Purch Acquires AnandTech, Dominates Tech Expert and Enthusiast Market

Actually no. In your position you should do some digging on the mods. Perk has a history of abuse on this forum, and it mostly fell on Deaf ears when complaints where sent to Anand. Otherwise, welcome. You know the rules. No mod callouts. esquared Anandtech Forum Director

Best Laser All in one Printer for home use - under $500

The Epson workforce printer, the one with the big tank, its a 4630 or something like that, is a reliable inkjet that is often cheaper than laser. Epson uses piezo electric ink heads, and hp and canon, use thermal print heads. Anyways, if you go laser, I have a Samsung color laser, its been...
