what is your budget? if you want easy once and done -> nintendo switch. if they are getting more curious about other games, then something like Steam Deck would be awesome. My 8 year old got into other games she plays on computer itself and loves it (they are not out on switch and may never be)...
ehhh. 'Xbox One generation of consoles' time came and went, some time ago.. effectively ended with release of the 'Series X' which themselves are two years old at this point and old 'Ryzen 2' chips. What does it have to do with game released in 2023??
I tried Starfield and thought it is 'a...
CRS125-24G-1S-IN is discontinued according to Miktorik - i think the item previous posters mentioned is here , different model
MikroTik Routers and Wireless - Products: CSS326-24G-2S+RM
overall, I suggest ranking your requirements below from most important to least - i.e. PoE+ vs budget...
Check out the CSS326-24G mentioned above - servethehome has a review for it I think. If still interested in Brocade, see what ebay says right now - 6450 model comes up at ~$120 right now (or best offer which should be cheaper) plus shipping. Both should be within your budget
Yes, there is a functional webui to both 6450 and 7250 switches and it does the job for anything you want to do including flashing images whenever firmware upgrades.
there is even a gui applet/gif/something that tells you which ports are used -i.e. below
I do recommend however is learning the...
Another suggestion to consider Brocade and read what @Fallen Kell written above. I used 6450 for 3 years (bought off ebay for $90) and upgraded to 7250 to get more 10Gb links. very stable, zero issues experience for me.
Thank you
and that is usable how ?? what games can it play? what cards does it outdo in Cyberpunk (or any other recent game)? is this information available?
And how is it different from people worshipping IBM chips because "raw power" ignoring that fact that outside few (very narrow) cases...
i think you are (correctly) hitting on why the whole 'cross platform' comparison are essentially meaningless along with 'best for XYZ task' marketing messaging.
- if you have tasks that you doing (video encoding , whatever) that you want to do in particular ecosystem and that ecosystem has...
I am with you- ideal/not ideal is irrelevant, real world is. Is this of any value to me who wants to play non-console AAA PC games? Does GamePass works on it (for game subscriptions and access to day one releases from anything Microsoft owned or contracted with)? How does it perform in say...
as others mentioned, could you please share what the actual requirements of your CNC equipment are?
What is in the A8N Deluxe is required to run it? Any reason not to go with something basic, modern, supported. A cheap motherboard is <$100 ..
you may be making it pretty hard on yourself by...
They are already charging you money to buy the same TV from LG, Sony, whatever - what is the difference? Why the wailing about 'paywalls' ?
If you dont want to pay Costco , dont pay cost of membership, buy the LG TV from elsewhere. if 'elsewhere' does not have the TV (console, laptop, whatever)...
got it. so , how is it different from say Costco or Sam's Club where they sell a bunch of third party products and you have to pay to belong? or Amazon Prime - similarly, "for Prime members only" tag Amazon applies is commonly for items not manufactured by Amazon ? Or using Microsoft example...
I don't get why the outrage - how is it different from any other pay to play programs or things like Amazon Prime? Tie what costs you nothing extra to provide to a paywall and make a business decision on where your profits are maximized - that is how companies operate. They are just conduits...
it generally means it is non-issue, infrequent enough and statistically irrelevant to the point it is noise. Few things to remember
a) "some users" will always report bricking. on update, on just turning their machine on, on reboot, on looking at it wrong way , on turning on a game (any game)...
