Why are there so many people here concerned with how loud a hard drive is??? Aren't the cooling fans in the case and power supply louder than any hard drive?

Video Card recommendation for recording TV Broadcast?

Hey guys, I'm looking to build a PC for my home entertainment system and I need a video card recommendation. I want to be able to do the Tivo thing...recording from broadcast or other video input source (i.e. video camera). I would also like to do some gaming although the recording function...

Check your credit card--MVP.com might be toast!

From the article... SportsLine.com said it expects the sites to remain open for business while operations are being transferred to USA's ECS group. The article states that Sportsline.com bought some of MVP.com's assets...nowhere does it state that MVP.com has ceased operations. Better change...

OD CLOSINGS: OC, CA

I agree with emonkey. The deals at the closing OD's are luke warm at best (most of the tech stuff is 5-10% off). Seems like all the closeout hot deals occur at the OD's which are continuing business...go figure. I think it's a marketing ploy to lure people in the closing stores to buy what...
