someone shot a laser pointer into my eye for around 3 seconds from 15 feet away and i'm kinda worried it may have caused some damage. Is it possible that it did?

bootable cd question

Hi all, is there any way to make the cdrom drive on my IBM thinkpad 760XL bootable? The bios does not have an option for it, and i have the type of laptop where only the floppy drive or cdrom drive can be in at once. thanx for the help.

Linux startup scripts

Hi all, how can i make a startup script for linux which would allow me to restore settings i inputted for ipchains. in other words, how can i get the command ipchains-restore < my_firewall to run automatically when i boot linux? thanx

Maybe your thinking of the Russian national anthem played at the beginning of the Hunt for Red October. If you search on napster, you can find the song title as Theme from the Hunt for Red October.

Any good mods for Unreal Tournament?

I always liked InstaGib. It helps develop accuracy, and best of all, the mod is built into the game. Unreal Fortress is decent, but Holy Wars is also really good.
