Good C/C+ Compiler?

has anyone else had problems with dev-c++ and the apstring class (one of the classes from the AP collection)? i cannot compile anything correctly using the apstring class...and i don't know whether it is dev-c++ because i have no other compilers. this is aggrevating. please reply if you have any...

thanks for the replies. is there anything else on the AB test besides c++? i thought i heard somewhere that there are a couple questions about computer hardware...is that true?

attention audio buffs

i think i found it there, thanks. it turns out i can't do it right from my computer. i need to be using a digital out. argh, guess i will have to go grab one of those.

i think this is kind of a shot in the dark...i doubt there is such software out there, but does anybody know of a product or utility that can help map out the actual notes played in a song? i mean, if i have a song on my computer and i want to know the chords or notes played by the guitar or...

ok, i just got my wacom graphire today, and it is pretty cool so far...but there are a few things im not that happy about...it seems that my mouse is very slow and not good to respond...and i cant figure out how to change this in the driver settings. also, the pen moves around a lot and is not...
