I'm using a 5150 and a 5350 in the AM1-A (mini ITX ASUS) mobos....oc's pretty decent too as long as you run the SATA controller in IDE mode instead of ACHI. 1.9Ghz on the 5150 and 2.4Ghz on the 5350 stock everything else.
I'd probably go for the 5150 at least for $10-$15 more but good cheap...

I would probably use Chrome Remote Desktop, or good ole MSTSC (RDP) to your home PC. You'll have to do some port forwarding if you're behind a router (and I hope you are)...3389 is the default port so you would have to set that up on your SoHo equipment to the IP of your device.
