Update! 1. I bought new, shielded UTP cables and 3,5mm stereo jack cables. Nothing worked, still the same crackling :( 2. But I finally found the real culprit: when I unplug BOTH my speaker's (AudioEngine A5+) power cable and my subwoofer's (AudioEngine S8) power cable, and plug them in...

I'll see if I can try that. I ordered shielded utp cables and a shielded audio jack cable, fingers crossed :) Update: powering the speakers using another outlet on the other side of the room didn't do a thing.

Thanks for the answers! Didn't have this problem before, with my old (cheap) speakers. Do you suggest shielded audio cable or shielded utp cable?

Since I've installed my new audio speakers (AudioEngine A5+ powered speakers) I've been experiencing VERY loud crackling while downloading/uploading. It's really driving me crazy!! 1. I'm using a wired internet connection (utp cable); the crackling noise is ONLY when data transfer is happening...

Hello! I've just bought a Note 5 from Verizon in Best Buy today, for use in Europe (I'm from Belgium and they don't sell it there). I chose Verizon because I've read they sell 4G phones unlocked, but after reading some more on gsm / lte bands today, I'm not sure anymore it will work on...

Thx for the advice. I have a similar value in that reg key (ProviderOrder: RDPNP,LanmanWorkstation,webclient) I tried changing it anyway, but it doesn't work. I can't believe how this is possible. As you can see, Windows recongnizes my NAS (ix4-300) both as media device and 'other' device...

Hmm, I have some more information: it seems I also can't access my HTPC (Win8.1) using my desktop PC. The funny thing is, I can access my desktop using my HTPC (I'm copying files from my desktop to my HTPC right now). So: I have 3 connected devices (desktop, NAS, HTPC) and only my desktop...

You mean in cmd on the Win 8.1 machine? System error 1222 has occurred. The network is not present or not started.
