I am having an issue with my Z68xp-UD3 board. It is revision 1.0 and has the U1J(UEFI BIOS) installed.
I am having weird issues while my computer is on such as intermittent lag.
The board is going past the post and booting up to windows. But when I get into the BIOS screen, only the Gigabyte...

The point of a page file is its the source of last resort. It's going to be slow with high latency compared to system ram no matter if you have a ssd or a hard drive. Latency for system ram is in the nanoseconds and in the microseconds for ssd's and hard drives. Putting your page files on your...
I will chime in that Monoprice has announced they are preparing to release the same panel under their name. The price might be similar to the Auria and will likely have the same warranty but will probably be released early next year. If you are planning on waiting for a little, just check out...
You could always get a low end 4 series from Nvidia such as the GT 430. I have been running GT 240s for a couple years on a couple computers. Good workhorse computer for light gaming and everyday use.
Basically, the cheaper the card, the better bang for the buck. But, if the card doesn't meet your needs or expectations, its not worthwhile. Just get the GTX 660TI and stop with these threads.
Lastly, overclocking isn't that dangerous. The longevity of computer parts exceeds its useful life...
Check Gigabyte's website. They are offering full UEFI for most Z68 motherboards. Prior to that update, I was unable to overclock my I5-3570k at all on my Z68XP-UD3. After installing the UEFI (follow all the proper steps, clear CMOS and everything), I was able to get my processor to overclock...
If you state the town you live in at the moment in a for sale post, you might be able to get a member from this forum to help you for a small price. An elderly gentleman did this about two weeks back and was able to get help installing a router for the small cost of a cup of coffee.
I have used UEFI since the day it was released for my Z68XP-UD3 motherboard.
I have not had an issue except when I first installed it, it would not go past the boot screen. I had to reinstall UEFI another time and it worked.
Something looks familiar there :-D.
Anyways, reapplying TIM using doesn't help too much. Different TIM makes a little difference of 4 C and how you apply it makes a significant impact. Many manufacturers have gotten their act together and apply it decently.
Vailr is right. I did that process through google searching for how to update the bios. I did it for a Z68xp-ud3 board. It allowed me to finally overclock my i5-3570k.
The UEFI fixed the overclocking bug for Ivy Bridge and improved my bootup speed. Great update from Gigabyte!
Used to have one of these cases as well. Picked it up at Fry's on Black Friday 2010. It is a decent case and the top disk slots are solidly constructed.
Issues with the case are the locks for the hard drives and CD drives are a little flimsy. Also, the case is made with thin sheet metal...
