Not that I plan on completing a lot on my gtx 1050ti, but it looks like the first wu I started 3hrs after the start of the race wasn't counted. No cpu tasks for me.
Only 2 small wu for me in this race. It slows my computer down too much. Can't watch videos on it while running. I'll see you guys in oct when it cools down enough to participate in the races again.
Guess its a good thing that I upgraded by GTX 460 to a 750ti last month. Almost no increase in sieving speed, but it does cut down on power usage by a lot
Well I just checked primegrid's website and saw that a race was in progress so I joined up in time to finish 4 workunits. That's what happens when I don't here or pg that often.
It only took me 13 years to hit 1k posts. Don't want to think about how much electricity dc has used in that time or how 1 day crunching now probably equals a couple of years worth in 1999 on my cyrix and original pentium
I don't think the gpu uses that much of your cpu while crunching. I turned mine off due to the heat. It's starting to warm up over here and this will probably be my last primegrid race until the fall
Oops. Looks like I unchecked the use cpu box instead of gpu box. Between that and a rogue program using 100% of my cpu, it looks like I missed almost 24hrs on this race.
I submitted 4 cpu work units yesterday. Probably could've gotten 2-3 per core done during the race, but decided to use cpu for other things. Besides that its just my gtx460 slowly churning thru these numbers
