I got these (2) cards from server pulls, and have a few questions...
1) How do you tell a 200 from a 400? Been all over the web, and never got a real answer...the Model tag/# says "Model CPI/200 &400 PCI"...hmmm:confused:
There is another number--04-1951-001, but I cannot find a cross...
Ouch..I'm taking a beating...boy, will I hear it tomorrow...I could have sworn you needed at least 3 drives, but guess I need to go re-read my books.
I lost a case of beer BTW
Thanks all
:o
Help settle a bet:beer:
We have a Compaq server that has 3 hot-swap disks with a hardware RAID 5 configuration (no hot spare) running Windows 2000 Server. Since RAID 5 requires a 3 disk minimum, I say if 1 disk fails, the server stops working.
My friend says it will keep running long enough...

bsobel...and your point would be....? Nice thread crap!
Something wrong with 2 posts in two different forums? Actually, the question could fall into either category. I just wanted an answer. So, unless you have something constructive to contribute, keep your dumb a$$ comments to yourself:disgust:
