iTunes for PC... WOOHOOO!!!

And the relevance is??? Outrageous prices??? 45's were $1 a pop. Yes, that's for 2 songs, but the other side usually wasn't that good anyway, plus vinyl does wear out.

Klipsch ProMedia Ultra 5.1

Anyone had experiance with an Audigy 2 and Creative Inspire 6.1 6600 speakers?

I had the 6600's for a couple of days, but I returned them. The 6600's sounded okay paired with the Audigy 2 (I liked the 6 speaker setup), but I preferred my Klipsch 4.1's - more power and just better sounding on music. I think the 6600's are better for gaming than music. I would have...

Ditch Audigy for TBSC ?

It's not the audigy, it's winamp. I had the same problem. Check your output plug-in under preferences. The skipping occurs if you are using "Crossfading DirectSound output v1.37." Change it to "Winamp2 waveOut plugin v1.03" and that should stop the skipping.

I got my 4400 too! It was sitting on my desk after I got back from lunch. It was delivered by UPS around 9:30am, but our mail people here at work don't give out the mail till the afternoon. I work in central NJ and it was delivered from Swedesboro, NJ (wherever that is).

Soundblaster Audigy-- Why No Rear Channel? Any Ideas?

I had the same problem. Check out this thread at viaarena.com for some interesting reading on abit and audigy problems: abit & audigy problems Bottom line is that it's probably a bad card. I replaced mine and all is working again.
