Yeah I was thinking of mounting it on plywood in the basement. $45 delivered is attractive.
alternatively ebay also has LGA2011 "OEM Server Motherboard Intel C602" for just $110. Standard EATX. The manufacture is not named.
I saw deals for the Supermicro Twin Motherboards X8DTT-F (Dual LGA1366 DDR3 $30). However, the supermicro manual talks about both SSI Standard Power Connectors and 20-pin Proprietary Power Connectors. So is this something that would be easy to rewire with a 6" ATX power extension cable...
Good point will try to push him to try another HDMI cable (reported it was brand new).
Asked him about how often and where the flicker occurs.
What type of flickers are common?
Yes, Correct he has the flicker using HDMI only connected to the BenQ Computer Monitor. He also reports it flickers connected to his Vizio TV.
DP/DVI works fine. It happens connecting only one LCD Monitor to HDMI or all three connected to various port (still just HDMI flickers).

Asrock at that link above reports a 1 year warranty, but newegg...
As much as I want to see good competition, what is the chance AMD's Zen is a home run? They have so much ground to make up and Intel can easily do a Skylake Refresh in 2016.
Yeah that was my initial reaction. I love his quote "I would like to return it before it causes damage to my system, or to my health."
I could not find anything at all on the Video Card although I did not remove the HSF. The Power Connector looks perfect.
EBay buyer returned the card I sold HD7970. It passed FurMark 1080p for 30+ min both before and after sale. I also ran 3DMark Fire Strike and Cloud Diver benchmarking without issues.
Update: Ran FurMark now for an hour and still looks good. Inspected everywhere especially the PCIe...
