Is it worth upgrading or should I be waiting. I dont game so it will mainly be used for video editing and encoding. Will it be twice as fast or just seconds quicker

besides in gaming is there any other programs that will benefit from the upgrade. How much faster would it make in games for me going from a 9600xt card to the x800 card? Is it worth the upgrade? Does it make a bigger difference than going from a 2.8ghz to 3.2ghz in gaming?

a 866mhz is bare minimum for editing...
i would go for something similar like below
2.4ghz or amd equivilent (knowing pentium 4 is a faster chip for editing)
256mb at least pc3200
hard drive depends on the file stored
