Unigine, OpenGL 4.0 and Tesselation

Almost all games have an opengl rendering path. The only dx exclusives I can think of are mircosoft games.

Best Java Compiler

NetBeans 3.5 is an awesome IDE. it seems like a pretty big rip off of visual studio.net (thats a good thing).

Just got cable....

Rebel7254: DOCSIS doesn't limit speed. My isp is running the latest version, and i get speeds of up to 750KB/sec (~6mbit).

DIfference between C++ and C#

c++.net's seamless integration of managed(msil) and unmanaged(asm) code gives the developer awesome power. although c# supports unmanaged code to an extent, its lackluster compared to c++.net when it comes to things like com and pointer managment.

It's less than 20mb..... The run-time files are ~10mb. and the redistributable is less than 2mb.

What could cause intermittant failure to POST?

I am having that problem aswell :/ Every now and then, my monitor will say "Signal missing" after i power up. The fans are spinning, and i can hear the hdd spin up, but then it just freezes (windows doesn't start loading). I get this more often after reboots that cold power ups. my pc is...
