If you could have either the x800 xt pe or 6800 ultra which would you take?

I'd take a single slot 6800 Ultra over a X800 XT. However, only two board makers are making single slot Ultras. I would definitely take a X800 XT over a reference/dual-slot Ultra.

9800 pro keeps crashing

There was no mention of testing the memory or making sure that the power supply was up to snuff. Try running with a single stick to see if the memory is acting up. You may want to run Memtest86 as well. If the memory comes back with errors, then maybe one of the sticks is bad. After that...

Best 22" CRT monitor

I have a FP2141SB-BK from NEC, which is the higher end version of the FE2111SB. I find it to be a superb monitor.

New Thermaltake Case

I am actually considering purchasing this case. I think it's very nice, and I do like its looks. Yeah it does copy the WaveMaster a lot. However, that won't stop me from buying one once it comes out.

Profile and Search buttons not working with Mozilla 1.6?

I was trying to access my profile using the buttons in the top right of the forum window in Mozilla. When I click on them, nothing happens. However, New Topic works since I am writing this. Am I missing something obvious here?

19" CRT---957MB from Samsung?

Ati 9800

Guspaz hit it on the head. Right now, it isn't worth the $100 IMHO. I was in the same quandry before I bought my Hercules 9800 Pro. I read one or two reviews where the performance increase was minimal at best. I was surprised that ATi didn't increase the actual speed of the card - 380/350...

Couple o' questions from a new ATI 9700 user

1) Already answered... 2) I believe Catalyst drivers listed it as 9500/9700 series because they are both r300 chip-based. I'd say yes to the optimizations since the 9500 is a stripped down version of the 9700 - less pipelines or smaller bus. 3) Half-Life/Counter-Strike, RTCW, and Madden come...
