A link was posted in that FW thread yesterday.

If anyone has tried using this utility, please let us know if it worked. Thanks!
I have the same problem with my DVD player going through the receiver via component. It was working in 16:9 over component when plugged directly into the TV, but when gong through the receiver it doesn't. I know how to change the aspect ratio and I tried toggling in and out of 4:3 and still...
Could you please expand on this? This sentence sounds like a hard rule, but the rest of the thread sounds less straightforward. It's analog so there may be some quality loss, but whether you can detect it probably depends on your receiver, cables, etc. Copy protection was also mentioned, but...
There are Crutchfield coupons. Do a search. If you can find them, PM me.
I received mine and I have a question. Do I have to be concerned about the magnets in the subwoofer, center, or front speakers being too close to the hard drive in my DVR?
Rather than taking in a hopelessly bad computer, how about taking in a perfectly good computer and seeing if they tell you that you need to buy something. I'm thinking: an up to date processor, plenty of RAM and HHD space, near new OS installation, no spyware, etc.
Anyone know why they've been having so many problems this last week? I can't remember having prissues in the last two years (surprising after how it used to be before that), and now it seems to be widespread and frequent.
Can someone please explain what exactly burn quality is and why it is so important? Or just point me to a site that expains this as I have been unable to find one. I hear everyone talk about burn quality, I don't understand what the implications are.
What is the main concern(s) of a drive...
Has anyone tried to order Nero from softwareandstuff? Do they actually check whether you've bought hardware?
You can only get Roxio if it's packaged with the drive you want, right? I don't think the offer it as a separate item to be purchased with whatever drive you want.
Has anyone heard an official reason for this fire sale? Nothing stated that it would be refurbished, so I think that would be illegal. If their fiscal year is funny and ends in October or something, that would make a lot of sense, especially if they have built up a huge inventory or have very...
FYI for those that don't live near a Fry's, a similar deal is also available from Outpost.com. If you look in the HDD section, the drive shows up as $145 with a $65 rebate ($80). If you go to the product page, though, the rebate doesn't show up.
There's a $140 rebate on the 250GB drive too...
Does anyone know of a website that has Seattle Times ads or ads from the Seattle Fry's? I live down south so I don't have access to the Times very often, and they don't run ads elsewhere. So I have to depend on people in this forum to post the good deals. Thank you all for doing that!
