starting to suspect the SSD at this point, anyone got any info on SSD related freezing? Whats it look like? How did you confirm it was your ssd?

I thought about the dust/heat issue and opened the case to clear it out awhile back so this I dont think is an issue. In terms of connection, if there was a serious problem with the connection it wouldnt happen intermittently like this because the box never moves it just sits on the floor and...

Computer Tools Kits

building a new PC and need to reup on some small screw drivers and what not. I actually wouldnt mind buying a tool kit but I want something of nice quality. All the tool kits on Newegg and Amazon seem cheap and I cant figure out if there are any manufacturers out there making solid tool kits...

23" monitor for multipurpose

I understand you want to get 24" possibly.. but I will second the Dell UltraSharp 23" I spent a few days checking over the reviews and for home office/video use whatever it might be that monitor is definitely the best bang for your buck. And its on sale @ dell right now 70 off the MSRP...

First time building in awhile - $1400

thanks for the input mfenn I was debating on going with that "sli" ready mobo just because I wasnt sure if I would ever want to kick in for a second 570 and run sli. You've brought up an excellent point though, because I could save on the Mobo, PSU, and Vid card ~ 175 bucks or so on the whole...
