Finally got around to doing some writes... :)
It was awesome! I first burned an audio CD and it turned out perfect except for one thing... don't put a 160kbps song on the cd, or else it is completely blank... that happened to me on one of my tracks.
I also burned 350megs on a cdrw in under...
I received my drive yesterday at around 3PM! Talk about next day service. The packing for the box was sweet!
I haven't been able to do any writing yet but it comes with a Yaiyoyuden CDR and a Ricoh CDRW at 12x and 10x respectively (sweet!) Can't wait to make some audio CD's and backups...

I haven't received my Plextor yet, but I got a tracking number, and Onvia has a warehouse in Orlando, 50 miles away from me! Talk about next day shipping even though it was ground shipping! It should be here in an hour or two. :D
