Hey Thrax Im still using one of those IBM Keyboards.. This Came off an old IBM Aptiva Desktop system from eons ago. Still runs One time it had stopped working and decided to replace it, i could not STAND

Yeah that Vantec Cooler will do and keep you pretty cool with an XP.. It can Keep a 1.4 T-bird to acceptable temps, the only thing about it with its stock Delta Fan its a tad bit loud.
I'm thinking of taking my old p2 and making a home theatre setup out of it.. i know i can get more than enough sound, the sound capabilities of a pc these days can easily perform on par with a high dollar Home theatre but i am wondering what are people using to get decent video onto their Tv's...

Seeing as how im getting tired of my puter being a little on the loud side.. Im considering taking a 120 volt fan out of a fridge and running it from the front of my case{where you would normally fit intakes} with a duct to funnel the air to the heatsink. Reason being the fan is a bit bigger...

Fridges and Ac units and other such things utilize some type of freon... however in order for freon to be used to cool you need
1 a compressor
2 an evaporator
3 a condensor
Being an AC tech i've thought about setting something up however you would also have to worry about the immense...
unless your just incredibly rich... which if that is the case go ahead and have a t3 line run in your house..
there is no reason not to network the 3 puters and use off one cable modem..

When Lapping a heatsink, first thing you want to do is get it perfectly straight. The best way to do this is to place a piece of sandpaper on a flat surface and sand it. The steel wool is great for for getting that surface...
