Dual Head out question

WindowsXP BioMetrics $55

I bought one of these like 3 years ago from them. It was the U are U Deluxe, only worked with 95 98 but it did work quite well. I'm thinking about getting another, now that they have XP software. (plus the sensor is much smaller now) How's this work in XP pro? One thing I'm trying to figure...

Will it hurt to leave my lappy cruch Seti 24/7?

Actually, IBM is currently replacing several thousand HP desktop systems where I work, with Thinkpad's & docking stations. We went to IBM & told them what we needed, going with all laptops was their idea, knowing full well that the majority of these systems will rarely be shut down.

ECS K7VZA --- no AGP..

That might be it. I'll give it a shot. It would explain why neither AGP card seems to work now.

Update: For some reason, it will now boot with the older ATI AGP card, but it still will not boot with the new ELSA card. I figured that the Elsa card was bad, so just to be sure, I threw it into another system, & it worked there... I'm Stumped..

ECS K7VZA --- no AGP..

Just started building a new system, I got a cheapo ECS board & it won't recognize anything in the AGP slot. I tried my new card, Elsa 511 & I also tried an older ATI card that I know works, but nothing worked. (just got beeps) I put in an old Jaton PCI v-card & it boots up fine. I thought...

How do I log on as Administrator in XP?

I'm thinking that you hit "ctrl-alt-del" again at the login screen to log in as Admin. Not 100% sure though.
