I have $500 CDN for a new vid card.....which of these ones?

100% save another $200 dollars (not sure what tax is out in alberta) and buy a 6800gt for 600 plus tax=700. It will make meat out of any of those cards. Brother, it is TOTALLY worth the extra $200. Try bigfootcomputers.com they are a local Canadian e-tailer. Located in Toronto, great prices...

XFX 6800GT @ 350/900!?! Memory problem

It's a disgrace as far as I'm concerned. I plan on RMAing it now, and I am going to put a SMALL mark somwhere on the card, just to see if I get the same card back with a bios flash to the 1000 memory or a new card :evil:

I got one at 350/900 with doom 3 combo. I upped it to 1000 and it is working fine. I am considering just flashing the bios to a 350/1000, as it seems XFX just uses the default nvidia 6800gt bios. But really, I can't be bothered it runs fine being oc'ed up to 1000, and I think it goes without...

Upgrade? If so...

install coolbits and go to display properties, advanced, 6800 gt, and pick the clock frequency setting. it will show your clock speeds for core/mem
