How would you make this shot?

as has already been said, more depth of field. this requires more lighting, obviously. with the extra lighting, put a fill panel below and to her left. the subject should be mostly shadows.

double clutching doesn't seem to make a difference

the syncho on 2nd gear in my G35 doesn't work that well when it's cold, so I double-clutch only after a cold start

Aftermarket modifications to crappy cars - Why?

Piddly mods are lame. An early '90s Civic that has a well tuned aftermarket suspension and racing tires is amazingly fast around an autocross course.

How to upgrade from Outlook 2007 to Outlook 2010?

I just upgraded from Office 2007 to 2010. No need to uninstall, just upgrade. Everything came over just fine. OneNote notebooks and everything in Outlook (email accounts, calendar, contacts, favorites, rules, all of it) works without lifting a finger to update anything.

anyone prefers to sleep on the floor?

Sleeping on the floor or other hard surface always gives me a crook in my back or neck when I wake up in the morning, and it's never restful. My preferred bedding now that I've been through college is a 1" foam pad on top of a firm mattress. Just the right balance of cushion and support.
