Have a strange issue on my new build. After about 5-10 minutes after a cold start the computer locks up and power must be recycled to recover. After that point, the computer runs fine. I got one error report after one of the lock-ups, it and said it was video driver related (STOP 0x000000EA...

Computer rig not working

seems like they have different FSB speeds. Make sure you have the latest bios. Boot with the slower chip and flash the bios, that may be the problem.

Yeah, it is probably your mobo, but it could be the cpu as well, but that is a very slight chance.

How to get cd-burner to work in DOS?

Take your drive to a buddies house and hook it up as the second drive and then copy all the files off to cd/dvd, you could also try a winxp repair.

Computer locking up don't know if it's mobo or GPU

I'm suspecting you video card driver. Get hold of driver cleaner and install the latest driver from the nvidia site

Vista not recognizing DVD drive

Do you have any other sata drives (hard drives). If not you may need to install a sata driver for you mobo. also make sure that the sata options on your mobo are turned on.
