Battlefield 2 1.5 FINAL patch released 1-Sep-2009

Great move. Just wish the random accuracy of the game was improved. I can't hit anything compared to cod2.

Will you buy Modern Combat 2 for $60-$65 on the PC

Unless they get some new game modes. Especially for competition. I could care less. I have tried 4 and WaW and yeah. I still play Cod2 multi more than anything else. No reason to "upgrade" for new graphics at the expense of putting up with a bunch of butt heads. Cod2 is so old only the hard core...

Honestly, the launch ones will be running dx10 for the first year or more. Hell, we barely have dx10 games now. Dx11 is not important yet. I expect that my 280gtx is still good to go for another year at least. My money is it will be nv first but only with a safe version of the card they...

Wow. Yeah that sucks. I went from a 21" Sony G500 crt to my Asus 26 and the response time isn't much slower. The picture and color isn't as good but there isn't any perceptible lag issues, tearing or anything annoying me at all. I don't even feel like it is too big. I found myself wondering if...

Looks like EA FINALLY!!! took a friggin hint from the competition mods and widescreen hacks. Only took YEARS. Hopefully, bf3 is coming next month right? lol What sucks is that BF is my favorite game type and nothing else gets my attention like it. Kind of like being addicted to cigarettes...

At $330 or so from Provantage, the Asus 26" VK266H is my favorite for gaming, movies, tv. It has component, dvi, vga, hdmi inputs, speakers if you need them, and a very decent picture. The speed of this panel is fast. I run 1920x1200 at 75hz for games with no perceptible ghosting...

Zeno Clash

It is pretty fun. Unique and I like the overall visuals. Worth $15 but I can't say if i will play it more than one time through. Feels like I am just playing to see new characters.

Well I been lucky enough, or not lucky, to get a BETA key for Battlefield Heros

It is not a good or even a real game. Just a kiddie time and $$ waster. Bring on a real Bf already. I want to play comp again before I die ffs.

Asus VW266H needs to be put on the list. It is doing 1920x1200 at 75 hz with damn little lag. I went something crazy in cod2 Outlaw P server. Like 34-3 playing right in the thick of it. Normally you would die more playing that aggressive. Responsive panel for gaming.

I just got an Asus VK266H and it is doing 75 hz at 1920x1200 on Cod 2 and WaW. I do sense some difference b/w it and my crt but I believe it is due to the size difference as much as anything else. The backlight bleed is noticeable w/ a black screen and the colors are not quite as good as a crt...

Maximum GPU before bottlenecking my system???

Just that the ati drivers suck and the new beta nvidia drivers are very promising. I like my old 280GTX w/ 1gb mem. Runs anything atm.

You want a decent 30" for the best big screen monitor. I would not bother with anything bigger unless you have $2k+ cash for it.
