Just reimaging my 98se box and after installing EZCD 5 the machine boots up to the login screen and then blues out with that error. Tried scanning through the registry & msconfig for CDRPWD with no results.
Maybe a link with McAfee 4.5? Not sure if I rebooted between installs....duh.

Sounds right Crimson.
WW, have you set the virtual directories in IIS? If you put it the address in your browser it will go to your default site, right? If you set up a VD as TEST (alias) then type in \\IP address\test you'll show the defalut page for that "site" which is just a...
While i cant explain why the WD drive isnt recognized, does the ABIT have Virus Protection in the bios? My Supermicro does and I have to turn it off to install an OS. Just a thought.
I agree Wik, that would do it and also taking the address out of the scope will prevent it from getting assigned to another machine. Also I think you have it right as to what he is requesting ie - setting the router to allow the second ISPs address to pass through the router. I've not seen...
<< also you HAVE to have DHCP turned OFF >>
Why? While I've not set forwarding up on my network, I've just set the scope in my router to dish out addresses above 0.4 and configured fixed address (0.2 & 0.3) for my server & print server. Shouldnt that work?
Another way is to use Server Magic/Partition Magic. It works great on NT4 Server & workstation. Install the OS on the default 4gb partition and then use PM to re-arrange the partitions as you want.
If you put in the 95 CD at the time you are asked to verify the previous OS, you should be able to "fake it out". I know I've used this on MS Office 97 and upgrading 95 from Win3.1
Steinberg's Wave Lab is tops (along with it's pricetag). Sonic Foundry's Sound Forge will do what you need affordably, but much slower. Be sure to have a decent sound card for the A/D conversion. Couldnt believe the difference until I got a digital sound card. I was using all kinds of...
I also had no success with this drive in NT4, good thing I got it cheap. Iomega claims the parallel drive is not supported in NT, havent tried W2K though. Works fine w/Win9X.
I suggest you try (if you got the $$$) Steinbergs Wave Lab. Its such a high end wave editing program and works GREAT for CDs. I boot live shows on DAT and pump them to HD via Digidesign card and edit them in WL. It sees your burner so you do recording in the app. Allows plenty of plugins...
I'm planning a move from Intel to AMD for a new game-box and I've read some great reviews (Gotapex, Anand, etc) about the K7V but would like to get imput from the pros here. I'm not 100% set on that board though...

While both machines will be able to surf you'll probably only notice slowness when DL'ing files. Depending upon your connection and those on your node it may not be much of a difference. I've got DSL but going to my bro's with cable we both get mp3s at rocket speed. My 384k DSL & multiple...
