Comparing file timestamps

i was able to get some help over at macrumors, and a fellow there informed me that i could do what i wanted in one fell swoop with the following command: find . -not -newermt "24 hours ago" -exec rm '{}' \; thank you speg for your feedback. i've not used automator much, but it does appear...

Comparing file timestamps

I'm trying to compare a file's mtime to the current time. Does anyone know how I can do this? The goal is to be able to have a script that will delete certain files that have a mtime greater than 24 hours. Thanks!

Travel options from SF area to LA area

Just wondering if you guys might know what are some travel options between SF and LA? I really dont feel like driving 6 hours, and plane tickets are a tad expensive (especially when factoring in the cost of parking). It seems that AmTrak has buses that go between the two areas, but they make...

i stabbed my refrigerator. should i still keep it?

thanx for the info... i'll toss it. You *might* be able to splice in a section of coil, then recharge it with refrigerant & have it functioning again for $20 or so... Depends on where the hole is & how handy you are.

i couldn't pull any of the trays out becuz the whole freezer section was a frozen block of ice. thawing probably wouldn've been a good idea tho.
