Hi, Has anyone tried a slot-fan between their SLI pair in combination with a passive cooler like the Zalman? I'd be interested in the overall affect on video card, NForce4, and ambient temps. I'm thinking this may be a quiet way to evacuate heat from the SLI pair and NForce4 chipset more...

sreams, I can tell you from memory that with my Corsair CMX512-3200C2 Rev 5.1 at 200MHz 2-3-3-6 timings, the difference between 1T and 2T was over 950 points in the Sandra 2005 memory bandwidth test. 1T does make a BIG difference. Its a shame I can't get above 230Mhz with 1T timings :-(...

ANTEC SLK1650 PSU

sbex55, It's going to be close... I'm using a True430W with a 6800GT SLI configuration and was pushing the 12V rail pretty hard. If I really hammer CPU and SLI fill-rate simultaneously, I have freezes and such. Considering you have four HD's, I'd plan on something with a beefier 12v rail...

Vedder323, I'm running an Audigy2 ZS in the 2nd to last slot with onboard sound disabled and bios 1003-005. No problems with this configuration. I do recall having some conflicts between the Audigy2 ZS and onboard sound in either the first or second PCI slot and BIOS 1002. I wouldn't give up...
