I got one of these back in October and received a $40 rebate check from that offer.
Can I buy another CDRW now under this deal and get another rebate? The terms say one rebate per person/household/address?
Yes it does, in fact as the B&M cashier handed me my cash register receipt, and it also printed out a rebate submission form on a 12" long strip to send in for the $40 rebate.
I just picked one up, it is the L01J040G, which is the 40G DiamondMax Plus with 2MB buffer with liquid bearings...
My local store gives a hassle sometimes with none printed coupons so I just placed the order on the web at the OfficeDepot.com site, plugged in the $20 off coupon, said I would...
I was able to finally locate one used display model in my area after calling about a dozen Sears stores, and it had been boxed up prior to my arrival.
Up opening it up at home, I "did not" get any of the documentation, warranty card, driver CD, power cord and other accessories that were...
Called Staples, they did have monitor in-stock and on Clearance at $349.95 with free shipping...to do price match I have to find a "local" retail store that has it in stock to get the $250 match....ouch
What price was Staples listing at Clearance? Unfortunately, I called five Sears stores in the suburban Chicago area and cannot find any that say they have one in stock.

Is there any significant performance difference from a Morgan chip and the Athlon T-bird? Would I be better in this scenario going with one over the other?
Though my CDRW shipped in a PD box, it was not re-tagged on the drive...the drive carries a Lite-On IT Corp. label showing Model #LTR-48125W and a manufacture date of May 2002.
I have an original KT-7 motherboard on which I have been running a 850 Mhz 200 FSB T-bird.
Without investing alot of money, I wanted to put a faster chip on the board, but notice the supply of 200 FSB chips is rather dry.
I know the BIOS updates on the original KT-7 board do not support the...
Ordered my drive on 10-20-02, the "OfficeDepot" delivery truck rolled up this morning and they delivered it themselves...no e-mail confirmation yet, and my order status said On The Truck.
