x3 720 is phenom II 920 BE

i dont think it's a 920 BE with disbaled core. since 920 is only an AM2+ and the 720 is AM3. not so sure on this though. lolz

Phenom I: possible to lower core voltage via software?

Good for you it works. Those old phenoms really generates a lot of heat. Maybe a bios update could lower down the temps.

AMD Phenom X3 710 --> X4

lucky you guys! i have a 0904 bpmw batch, i can seen the 4 cores in the acc settings but can't see it in windows. will try other settings to do the trick.

New AM2+/AM3 mobo.

get the foxconn with the 790gx/fx+sb750 chipsets. i have a friend who told me that it overclocks well.

better get a higher wattage psu so you wont be having problems when it comes to overclocking.
