Overclocking on Asus P5Q

Does anybody here install Asus utilities?

Does anybody (especially overclockers) install all the Asus utilities that come with their motherboards? Most of it seems pretty useless to me except for the BIOS update utilities.

Overclocking on Asus P5Q

Ok, ran prime95 for 24 hours no errors. Looks like we are stable. With all 4 cores loaded, looks like I'm running at about 56-57 deg on 2 cores and 50-51 on the other 2. Should I start tweaking voltages or should I just leave good enough alone?

Right on, got your settings in the bios and running stable in windows. Prime95 tests starting...Will report back tomorrow and let you know if its stable. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Overclocking on Asus P5Q

Hi I was wondering if you guys would be so kind as to lend me some assistance with OC'ing this Q6600. Its been a while... I read thru graysky's guide, but I guess I am not 1337 enough. I got my processor up to 3ghz (9x333) and it appeared to be stable, but the FSB was getting OC'd to 1333...

Request: Motherboard reccomendations

I ended up ordering: Intel quad core Q6600 2.4 ghz Kentsfield Asus P5Q LGA 775 Intel P45 chipset 4GB OCZ Reaper HPC Edition DDR2-800 4-4-4-15 Zalman CNPS-9700 HSF I think I'm gonna use graysky's guide and OC to 3 ghz.

Request: Motherboard reccomendations

I am upgrading my PC's processor, mobo, and ram and was hoping for some reccomendations. I do not plan on overclocking. I am looking at the Intel E8400 or Q6600 processors and 2-4 gigs of PC2 6400 memory. I am not to up on current motherboard chipsets and was hoping for some...

Cold and loathing in Colorado

Its snowed the last 3 days here and been in the 30's during the day. If I woke up from a coma and somebody told me that tomorrow is the 1st of May, I would punch them for lieing to me... I am truly loathing Colorado right now. There is no emoticon for what I am feeling right now.

Wow, X-Plane looks really really cool, I'm probably gonna buy that and give it a whirl. I need to look into Longbow 2 still.
