Strange Lockup Issues...

Yes, I actually thought of this and am going to swap them out, we'll see what happens. It seems as if it is simply failing to initialize, and it does not sound like the CD ever really starts to spin any faster when you click on the icon, so I am thinking that might be the problem. Anyways...

Strange Lockup Issues...

I just built my bro a computer, and he is having some strange issues. When he tries to run certain games, the games initial screen will come up before the menu loads (you know, the window that usually appears in the middle of the screen with the games name and such), but then it completely...

Anyone else think that ATI really let themselves fall behind? I was a huge fan, but while they are working on ps3.0 and SLI, nvidia has time to refine existing technology and work on new stuff as well. I don't think it will kill ATI, I just think they were too confident that they would be able...

nvidia 66.93 driver gave slower performance

Do you have a nvidia chipset? If you run driver cleaner, it will sometimes take off EVERYTHING that is nvidia, or at least delete certain files by accident, I have had that happen to me before. My guess is that since it is a DFI, it is probably the nforce 3 250Gb chipset, so that could very...

IMHO, ATI is falling a little behind. They are vowing to do things in their NEXT line of GPU's (God only knows when we will ACTUALLY see those). Meanwhile, Nvidia will be able to refine those features already available, as well as bring some new ones to the table. I just got my 6800 GT, and...

You can also download the lastest Omega Drivers, they give you the option in just the normal control panel.

Thanks, I do know what I am doing, I was thinking of using nvflash, but I don't need to anymore. My card has been working well, but I was noticing some weird tearing and sometimes just inconsistent IQ. However, I realized that Fast-Write was turned on, I just thought I turned it off. Anywho...

Anyone one want to venture a guess on "User Error"? I am not sure how new you are to the whole graphics card scene, but I have absolutely no idea how you could come to the conclusion that this is the "buggiest card ever". P.S. This is a waste of the word POLL.
