Your very own first Video Card, post here!

The first retail boxed video card that I purchased was a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI. Everything prior was whatever came with the OEM system. Hard to imagine that it was 10 years ago that I purchased the card for Counter-Strike which is still alive and kicking today.

5770 crossfire with 58xx series?

Your mobo will do crossfire. eVGA just doesn't advertise it or ship the board with a bridge.

I was there are 1:59 EST. Hit refresh and never saw the page load. Just like Woot's BOC. Never had a chance since the page never loaded.

I used refresh to advance my way through and it seems that I may have gotten some BOC love. Its at order status page and says if there is enough stock, my order goes through.

I'm surprised it's listed there but not in the control panel itself. However, it doesn't seem to work. When I have it enabled and something out of native res, the screen turns black and I can't do anything. Nothing shows up even though it opens. I think I'm done with nVidia LCD scaling, I'll...

I have a slight problem. I am running a 20WMGX2 with a eVGA 7900GT KO, latest drivers, but I can't seem to find nVidia's screen scaling options anywhere. It shows up for my friend running a BenQ202W with 6800LE.

Radio Shack Conductive Paint Pen $6.49 Instore

Package states 12 months after first use and 24 months if unopened. How we can tell when it was manufactured is beyond me, so I don't know how anyone can calculate the 24 months thing.

Yeah, I'm using component (red green blue/red white) for my PS2. I have advanced DVM off. I'll try messing with other settings. I notice that games look worse than normal if I have progressive scan enabled for the game... such as ESPN NFL 2K and Gran Turismo 4.

Amazon still has it for order but it doesn't seem to be in stock. It says "Usually ships within 1 - 2 weeks". The price seems to have dropped as well. It's $4.98 now. On the right hand side of the website, click on "17 used & new", then look for the Amazon logo. Should be the last vendor...

RMA to ASUS, how long?

I did one recently about a month back. It took about five weeks for me to receive a replacement from the day that they received the motherboard. EDIT: The mobo I RMA'ed was a P5VD1-X. I received a very clean replacement that looked brand new.
