Ive got the Mx 700/keyboard combo and it's one of the best investments I've ever made. The only downside is that the Mx 700 is a bit heavy, but as long as you got a good mousepad you won't notice it.
"If you had the old SB Live drivers in there before you installed the new ones, it will cause problems. I went through it with mine.
I did a fresh reinstall and it worked."
When your talking about a fresh install does that include going through the registry deleting anything related to...
Besides getting an analog cable to connect the front speakers and sub you mean .....
Can I get any kind of stereoplug to connect to the analog outputs on the audigy or does it have to be some special cable?
I just upgraded from a SB live to an Audigy 2 card, and now the rear speakers on the Boston digital 7500 4.1 system i've got hooked in to it doesn't work. I.e. i've only got sound from the front and the sub. But when I test the speakers with creatives software, I get the test sound from my rear...
Have been using the cordless MX combo for a week now, and it's absolutely marvelous. No lag whatsoever in either keyboard or mouse, and they both also have a great "feel" to them when u use them. Some may consider the mouse to be a bit heavy though, but if u have a decent mousepad (I have a...
The AX-7 and SVC gc68 are unfortunately non-existant over here. Anyone know anything about the Globalwin CBK 58? It's listed as running at 25dB and rated up to XP 2000. That looks pretty good on paper but I'm simply wondering if it's true or if it's sugarcoating.
I'm wondering what HSF to get for my XP 1900. I'm not gonna OC and I want it to be as quiet as possible. I know about the Alpha pal 8045 but that alternative is a bit expensive. Then I've read that Thermalright SK6 is really good, but I live in sweden and it's not available here. So right now...

Sorry for being a wiseass. The only contructive advise I have is to look for win2k updates, like service packs, but you probably already thought of that anyway.
I recently went from 98 to 2000 and I notice no drop in fps in any game whatsoever. In fact som games run better now. A few games might have compatibility issues witn win2k, but if they run on it, then they run just as good as in any other version of windows.
I've got a few div X files I've been trying to play, but the audio won't play. Wm player tries to look for a codec and installs something like "windows media audio" but it doesn't do any good. I checked in "properties" and the audiostream is identified as "Windows Media Audio V2". I've been...
