Asus M2N4-SLI Does not boot!!

Pheonix (Award) BIOS use the same code, so no matter what board or BIOS version you have, the beep code is the same. These fine gentlemen are correct in their assessment, one long and two short = video error.

Still have one of those boards running. Takes whatever I throw at it. Probably one of the best AMD boards ever made IMO.

Anyone blown a PSU...

Won't that burn your lips....................................:roll: Never had a PSU blow out on me. I doubt heat from your PrescHot is what killed it. What PSU were you running?

6800XT PCI-e Coming soon from XFX.

These are 8 pipe cards and nvidias way of eliminating the 6600GT line. It's easier and cheaper for them to eliminate a production line on the 6600 core and stick with the 6800 which will be phased out soon as well. They need to keep a budget line and eliminate cost to them.

What is a good sounds card?

I would stay away from M-Audio if he wan't good sound from using it as an input device for a mixer. The best card out there right now is the Bluegears Mystique. They will come out with a new card soon (though now they are sold to Auzentech, which will continue their excellent product line).

$80 shipped for the evga board that came with card

Except the DFI is $80-100 more depending on which SLI model. I would stick with a proven board though, the eVGA aren't that great.

If your CPU fan is attached to the motherboard via the 3 pin molex, your fan speed will also be reduced using CnQ.............thus Cool 'n' QUIET

Yeah, plain and simple, the MSI sucks compared to the Epox. Shouldn't need much more convincing than that. Seriously though, check around some other forums, especially like XS and you will see the headaches people have gone through with their MSI, and to make it worse, their latest revs are...

DFI or ASUS

Why not? You can put your Audigy in the slot above the bottom PCI-E slot or under it. The new bridge is also a flexible one, not a solid pcb like previous bridges which helps for working other components between gfx cards. With 8 phase power regulation (amazing) and great features, if I had the...

It is very difficult to get 4 sticks of memory stable on nF4 based motherboards. Be sure you have 2T enabled and maybe loosen the RAM timings and increase vdimm a bit.
