Mac Mini through airport security?

Ok, well that's good to know. I'm having to get dropped off at the airport like 4 hours early so I suppose I've got time to (try) and explain anyway, hehe.

Good point I guess, just that since i'm a student the "take it with you for free" option is what i first thought of.

Mac Mini through airport security?

This is a bit of an odd question, but I need to take a Mac Mini with me on a flight from Nashville to Frankfurt next month. Would I be allowed to bring that as a carryon? (im talking just the cpu, not a monitor or anything). I'm sure the TSA inspectors would have no idea what it is...

Upgrade to X1950XT?

Alright, I'm almost done asking questions I promise. I'm deciding between these two items. However, the Radeon X1650 GT is half in price and has double the memory than the Radeon X1650 XT one. These things look almost identical in specs, seems like a no-brainer, but.....makes me think I'm...

Extelleron: I was figuring on the x1950xt being a bit much for my system. Its too bad. I rather enjoyed the idea of teh higher end agp card. Still, if you can think of any other way to make it worth while, then I am all ears. I believe this mobo is good for some OC'ing but I've never tried...

OK, my needs are not that great. Games like neverwinter nights 2 (maxed out and with shadows) and fear are as demanding as I can go right now. I"m in school and i just don't have time for the full pci-e upgrade. I barely have time for gaming :P It sucks because I want to build a new system, but...

Upgrade to X1950XT?

Here are my system specs: Pentium 4, socket 478 2.8 GHz 1.5 GB RAM (DDR333 i think) Abit IC7 Max3 mobo old card Radeon 9800XT....dead Good brand psu...around 500-600w (so this shouldn't be a problem) I'm thinking about a Radeon X1950XT. But... I'm also thinking this may be overkill...

Need free Quicktime (.mov) video editor

Thanks for the reply, that'll be good to keep in mind. I was looking some more and downloaded the AvidFreeDV program listed in the freeware post, seems to be able to import my .mov files and be able to do the simple stuff I want. I'm going to make a video of my travels in Europe this summer...

Can anyone suggest some free video editing software that handles .mov videos? I'd like to be able to take .mov videos from my digital camera, splice them together, add text in various places, add background audio (music or commentary), that type of thing. Is there a free, simple program that...

ewiz has 1GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive for 25.95

Same here, got the 1GB in the silver color. I like it so far, haven't done any big file transfers to test speed but seem like a nice drive. Great for the price.
