Hmmm around the $1800? Well, I guess I would mainly have to see if my parents could help me out, or maybe by Christmas or Thanksgiving, if there's a sale, maybe they could pay half, and I'll pay the other half. I guess I'll see but I would love a Thinkpad "T" Class.

Well the laptop would be mainly used for school and work (and also personal use, but no gaming, like chatting online, web surfing, etc) Mainly a lot of word processing, Microsoft Office Suite, Email, etc... Other then using it for business-wise, is probably for burning CDs and playing DVDs...

Well I'm thinking about getting a laptop/notebook in November or maybe Christmas. My PC is probably going to be moved to my dad's business office, and used as the business PC (and since it's in the basement of my house..., I might also use it as a gaming PC, just occasional gaming of course.)...

Getting the Epox 8RDA+... Help!! How's this setup?

So you think I should just get a *replacement* board and chip UNTIL the new series and everything come out? BTW, if anyone is interested, I'm selling the board and 1.4GHz for $45-50 PLUS shipping... that is if I don't need the processor... BTW, I'm in NY so there's no Fry's around me =( Hmmm...

CDRW/DVD - Both drives aren't showing up on PC

Well I finally found out that I have a half-bad motherboard. That's the problem =( Well, time for me to get the 8RDA+ ... wanted that for awhile but just never got to get it. heh BTW, would the 8RDA+ (NForce2-based) be compatiable with the future AMD hammers (I think they're 64-bits)

CDRW/DVD - Both drives aren't showing up on PC

My CDRW and DVD drives aren't showing up on my PC. I had my TDK 52x CDRW plugged in and so was my Pioneer DVD but the power wasn't plugged in because of some experimental things (it hadn't been plugged in for a long while now) and since I got my TDK 52x burner to work perfectly normal again...
