I have a funny problem. When rebooting or shutting down the nviad icon apperar in the tray with baloontion in Chinese I think. Can any onre tell me what it is? corrupt bios?

I have the above mother board. I am running windows xp Sp2 My problem is I cannot get the standby or hybernate function active. The hybernate tab is missing. Even the stand by button on shut down screen is not active. Something wrong with the board? Thanks.
